Dr. William Jackson has spent the last 15 years practicing and studying mindfulness based meditation and psychotherapy. His teaching style incorporates core methods from Vietnamese Zen, Burmese Theravada and contemporary evidence-based mindfulness practices. William intensively studied several different Buddhist traditions with with 7,000+ hours of total time in retreat during his six years as a fully ordained Buddhist monk. William is currently the founder and CEO of SkillfulMeans, an organization that develops Mindfulness based programs that help, students, parents, athletes and health conscious individuals clarify and achieve their personal picture of well-being.
